Early life and career
Born to a Japanese mother and Japanese-Panamanian father as the youngest of four sisters, she was discovered by a fashion scout while at the second year of junior high in Okinawa. She subsequently began modeling, initially modeling exclusively for the popular fashion magazine JJJJ (magazine)
