Merwyn R. "Mitch" Greenlick (born March 12, 1935) is a Democratic
politician from the U.S. state

, in 1964 to start and later direct the Kaiser Permanente
Center for Health Research. He also was named Vice President of Kaiser Foundation Hospital in 1981. Starting in 1990, Greenlick served as Professor and Chair of Public Health and Preventive Medicine in the School of Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University.
Greenlick has been active in his community as a board member of the Community Action Organization in Washington County
and as a member of the Northwest Health Foundation Board.

In the 74th Legislative Assembly, Greenlick serves as chair of the House Health Care Committee and as a member of the House Education Committee and Higher Education Subcommittee. In past legislative sessions, he has served on the House Transportation, Land Use, Environment and Rules committees.
On November 4, 2008, Greenlick defeated Republican
opponent Jim Ellison and was elected to a fourth term in the House.
