Mundo Estranho is a curiosities and diversities' magazine, very popular with Brazilian teenagers and it is the country's most popular magazine of its type. It was a division from Superinteressante
magazine, but reached a kind of "half-independence" a few months after its first issue (November of 2001).

Humoristic ages (2002 - Nowadays)
With an exclusive team and good reputation between the teenagers, "Mundo Estranho" initiated a humoristic phase, with a funnier writing in its articles and more curiosities about sex, musical bands and movies.Main topics
In its 70th edition (December 2007), the magazine suffered little modifications with its structure. This is the new magazine's division:- Postcard Box: a section with letters from the magazine's readers;
- Mundo Estranho's Big Gift: magazine's sales promotions;
- ME Digital: two pages with news about the magazine's website and the readers' comments in the magazine's Orkut and sales promotions for mobile-phones and smartphones;
- Duel: it is a competition between any two subjects. The magazine's team establishes five topics for each duel and compares the weak and the strong points from each "fighter". The most famous published "fights" were Harry Potter X The Lord of the Rings, Gandalf X Professor Dumbledore, Bill Gates X Carlos Slim and X-Men X Heroes;
- Super-Career: this is a bimonthly topic which is alternated with the topic "Interchange". It shows a description of uncommon jobs (like "grave digger") and gives hints to help the reader to follow these careers;
- Interchange: this is a bimonthly topic which is alternated with the topic "Super-Career".
