Founded in 2009 by S.R. Reddy, the NAVODAYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is the brain child of the Navodaya Education Trust, Raichur. The institution is situated in a picturesque serene environment on the outskirts of raichur city, away from hustle-bustle of city life. The campus is a hub for all the assured facilities of quality education with an easy access to all the amenities providing world class knowledge contemporary comforts, leisure, happiness, and a boost of extra curricular activities.

The college

The college provides professional education in engineering subjects such as Computer science, electronics and communication, information science, mechanical, electrical and civil.

The campus is set in a 60 acres (242,811.6 m²) campus and is situated along Mantralayam Road,
in Raichur.

Admission procedure and eligibility

Students are admitted on merit, according to the directives of the Government of Karnataka, both to the Government Quota and the Management Quota.

Eligibility for admission to B.E. courses is a pass in 10+2 class or equivalent with a minimum 45% in Science group. Mathematics and Physics are compulsory Science subjects. Any other Science subjects like Chemistry can be the Third Science subjects.
