In the summer of 2005, A.E.K. decided to release Hatzis, and thus he continued his career with the Greek club Olympiacos
. He played the next year with the Greek team Panionios and he returned to A.E.K.
in August 2007, after the changing of the club's chairman. In 2009, he moved to Ilisiakos
