) and Connor Davis (Scott Thompson Baker) soon found Taylor at the palace and asked her to go back to Los Angeles
with them, but she refused, until her father, Jack (Chris Robinson), had a heart attack. Taylor convinced Omar to let her return.
Shortly after Taylor's return to L.A., Ridge was blinded
in a lab explosion. Taylor played nurse to Ridge, much to Omar's disapproval. She soon revealed to Brooke that she was alive. She then revealed herself to Ridge, who was thrilled to see her alive. Despite this, Ridge was determined to stay with Brooke. Taylor decided to stay in L.A. and Omar went back to Morocco alone.
Omar reappeared in 2005, when it was revealed that Taylor had not died after being shot by Sheila Carter
(Kimberlin Brown
) in 2002. Omar had taken Taylor from the hospital and replaced her with a very realistic dummy, which had been buried, and Taylor had been in a coma
at the palace. Taylor returned to Ridge and Omar once again went back to the palace alone.
