In 2009-10 :
Two additional teams were formed in order to satisfy the requirements of AIFF
for teams to be eligible for participating in I-League
. The under-19 team played in the First Division of MDFA and finished 4th. The under-15 team played in the 4th division and got promoted to the 2nd division of MDFA by virtue of finishing third in the league. PIFA Colaba also has a women's team playing in the MDFA league.
In 2010-11 :
The men's team played the MDFA Elite division and finished 3rd in the Mumbai League as well came 3rd in the Maha League. The team then went on to play the 2nd division i league in Madurai, where they finished 5th in their group. The U19 team won the runners up place in the BFRA Fairplay Trophy. They reached the quarterfinal round of the MDFA 1st division League. The U17 team remained unbeaten in their group but fell short by one point to qualify to the playoff stage in the MDFA 2nd division league.

History
A PIFA community project initiated in 2006 by the "PIFA Foundation for the benefit of sports" for the development of football in the South Mumbai area, PIFA Colaba FC started in the MDFA Senior Division during the 2006-2007 season. The team achieved consecutive promotions in the first two years from Senior to Super and from Super to Elite respectively.
