History

When the Japanese Imperial armed forces has did not entered and occupied in Palayan in 1942 during the Japanese Invasion through they the using of the built and re-established of the local military camps, bases and military GHQ of the Commonwealth Army of the Philippines in the town of Palayan stated the Japanese Insurgencies and Occupation.

During the Second World War, the local military general headquarters of the Philippine Commonwealth Army was re-established and built of the military camps and bases on 1942 to 1946 in Palayan, Nueva Ecija and aided the local military regular units of the PCA 2nd, 25th and 26th Infantry Division. Some of all the stronghold Filipino troops of the Philippine Commonwealth Army 2nd, 25th and 26th Infantry Division was sending military operations in the province of Tarlac and Nueva Ecija in Central Luzon from the Local Military GHQ and Camp Bases in Palayan to helping the local guerrillas, Hukabalahap Communist rebels and U.S. liberation military forces and defeated and fought against the Japanese troops during the Japanese Counter-Insurgencies (1942-1944) and the Allied Liberation (1944-1945).

Before the Allied Liberation of Central Luzon, and some of combined U.S. and Philippine Commonwealth military ground troops aided the helpful of the local guerrilla resistance and the Hukbalahap Communist rebel fighters started the liberate the province of Tarlac and Nueva Ecija in Central Luzon and attacking Japanese Imperial Forces and aftermath in World War II.

Roman Catholicism comprise the majority of religious affiliation in Palayan City. Iglesia ni Cristo, on the other hand, have 9 Local Congregations or Places of Worship in Palayan City alone including the INC Resettlement Areas in 2 Barangays namely Barrio Maligaya and Bagong Buhay where all of the residents are members of this religious organization.
