Patrice King Brown was hired at KDKA-TV, Pittsburgh in 1978 as a host for Pittsburgh 2Day (1978–1990), a popular talk/variety show, which was also the highest rated local program broadcast in the Pittsburgh market for ten of the twelve years Patrice was co-host. With the job, she had the privilege of interviewing local and national superstars of that time. After hosting Pittsburgh 2Day, Patrice began anchoring at KDKA.
