In 1995, Lauzon teamed up with Marie-France Dubreuil. They captured the gold medal at the Canadian National Championships four times and competed at the Winter Olympics twice. They were forced to withdraw from the 2006 Winter Olympics
after Dubreuil suffered an injury. They recovered to win the silver medal at the 2006 World Championships
in Calgary.
They started out the 2007 season strongly by winning the Skate Canada
event and NHK Trophy
events, which qualifies them for the Grand Prix Final
. They ended their year just as strong, capturing their second consecutive silver medal at the 2007 World Championships
in Tokyo.
Dubreuil & Lauzon took the 2007-2008 season off and skated in ice shows. They announced their retirement from competitive skating on May 20, 2008.
