He is also the Founding Director of the Critical Research Laboratory in Law and Society (Programs: CLPE Comparative Research in Law & Political Economy, 2004 and CURL Collaborative Urban Research Laboratory, 2006) and the Co-Director of the European Union Centre of Excellence at York University since 1 July 2010. . He was also a York-Massey Fellow from 2010 to 2011 and the Associate Dean Research of Graduate Studies and Institutional Relations at Osgoode Hall Law School from 2007 to 2009.
