Gallant has been to eight Briers
. In 1982, he played second for Peter Jenkins. Gallant would not make it to the Brier again until 1991 when he played third for Robert Campbell
. He played third for Campbell again in 1993, 1995, 1997 and 1999. He played third for Peter MacDonald at the 2001 Nokia Brier
. Gallant did not return to the Brier until 2007, where he skipped team Prince Edward Island for the first time at a Brier.
Gallant has had very little success at the Brier, his best performance coming in 1995 where his team lost in the tie-breaker against Ed Werenich
. He has had more success at the Canadian Mixed Curling Championships, which he won in 1987 as a skip.
