début at the 1988 Summer Paralympics

, Adeline Dumapong. Dumapong won her country's first -and so far only- Paralympic medal when she took bronze in the up to 82.5kg event, lifting 110kg. In 2004, the Philippines were represented by two powerlifters. In 2008, Dumapong was due to compete, but was a non-starter in her event, so the country's only representatives were a pair in sailing, in the Mixed Two Person SKUD18 event. They finished last.
The Philippines have never competed in the Winter Paralympics.
