Early years

Phoenix Christ originally formed in 2006. Phoenix Christ started as a two piece band combining the talents of two main members, Red Jesus on drums, & Phoenix on guitar and vocals.

Soon after they hit the stage they ran into bassist Jason Johnson and became a three piece band. With the new member came new conflict and the band then parted ways in summer of 2007.

After 4 years Phoenix Christ has re-connected and now consists of the following members::

Controversy

The name Phoenix Christ in itself has been a controversial topic. Phoenix Christ is not a Christian band, but it is frequently assumed so. The conflict of good vs evil is a theme that Phoenix Christ plays on.

Phoenix Christ's music touches down on many controversial topics, and also addresses several of the problems regarding the current conditions of our society, as well as our planet as a whole.

Phoenix Christ is currently in pre-production for a feature length documentary that will highlight the struggles and hardships of their journey through and into the eyes of the blood sucking critics of Rock and Roll. It will also document the making of their first official album 'Resurrections'
