Piaggio Zip 4T
Encyclopedia
The Piaggio Zip is an urban scooter
which is equipped with either a 2-stroke or a 4-stroke engine in 49cc and 100cc. The latest model of the Piaggo Zip was introduced in 2000 and that's why it is usually referred to as the "Zip 2000".
It comes in three colours: red, blue and black. It is the third generation Zip; the older Zip 2t model which was originally introduced by the Austrian Puch
Company. When the Italian Piaggio
Company acquired the Puch factory they decided to continue to produce the Zip series and Piaggio introduced the latest model in 2000 under the name Piaggio Zip which caused the Puch brand in mopeds and scooters to disappear.
The current Zip 2000 model has a twist and go transmission.
The bike is one of the lowest priced models in the Piaggio range and is an extremely popular scooter in various countries due to its low price, build quality and reliability.
