Since 2009 it has operated the go via
toll collection system, a rebranding of the previous E Toll system. As well as accepting tags introduced by E Toll, new methods of paying the toll have also been introduced. Queensland Motorways is delivering the Gateway Upgrade Project, which when completed will be the largest road and bridge infrastructure project in Queensland
's history.
On 2 June 2009, the government announced the 'Renewing Queensland Plan' that would sell assets to raise $15 billion, and avoid a further $12 billion required in future capital investment. Queensland Motorways is included in this process, the tolling rights will be leased via a competitive bidding process for a franchise of up to 50 years, commencing in 2011. The Government will retain ownership of the physical infrastructure, and future toll increases will be limited by legislation.
Queensland Motorways owns two subsidiaries called Port Motorway Company and Logan Motorway Company.

Structure
The company has five divisions responsible to a Chief Executive Office. These are the Operations Group, Corporate Group, Finance Group, Technology and Development and the Gateway Upgrade Project.Queensland Motorways owns two subsidiaries called Port Motorway Company and Logan Motorway Company.
