The band dissolved in 1992, but reformed in the late 1990s to record another album, titled Decibels, in 1997. The band dissolved again, and reformed in 2005, and are currently planning to record another studio album. Guitarist and primary songwriter Dave Carlo has been the only permanent member in the band's 27-year history. They were featured on the 2005 "The Gates of Hell Tour". They also headlined the 2009 "Headbangers Open Air" festival in Germany in July 2009. In the United States and Canada they have toured with well known acts such as Slayer
, Motörhead and Venom
. Most recently they appeared on November 12, 2010 at the El Mocambo in Toronto. Razor will also be headlining the 2011 "True Thrash Festival" in Osaka,Japan on February 11 and 12th 2011. In Canada, their next appearance will be at Les Foufounes Electriques in Montreal Quebec on April 29, 2011. They are also currently completing new material for the long awaited follow up to Decibels.
