for his volunteer and fundraising efforts, particularly in support of people with HIV
and AIDS

Kaiser reigned as Empress XXVIII of the Imperial and Sovereign Dogwood Empire of Vancouver
(known as the Dogwood Monarchist Society) in 1999-2000, and has frequently hosted Vancouver's annual gay pride parade
. In addition, Kaiser has been the long-time host of the weekly Bingo for Life charity bingo event in support of Vancouver's Friends for Life Society.
