will require an official business visit by the government. Personal business visit has to be authorized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Diplomatic assignments to the Saudi Embassy are made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Tourism is not permitted to Thailand

Violating the Saudi Ministry's law by traveling to any of the banned countries is taken seriously and violators may be subject to investigation leading to a fine or a jail sentence.
