will be held from October 15 to October 23 at the Pan American Shooting Polygon (rifle and pistol events) and Jalisco Hunting Club (shotgun events). Shooting is one of the many sports offering Olympic qualification.

The number of athlete allocations to be assigned to each NOC will be based onthe historic participation in Pan American Games

Qualification
Mexico as host country is automatically qualified in every event. No later than July 1, 2011, each eligible NOC was required to submit a list of shooters to be considered in the entry by name to the CAT (Pan American Shooting Federation).
