Early life

Of Chinese descent, Simon was raised in Vancouver before moving to Montreal. Chang attended Emily Carr University of Art and Design on a full scholarship awarded by The Hudson’s Bay Company.

Later years

One of Canada’s most commercially successful designers, Simon continues to explore new creative horizons. His imagination is sparked by Broadway musicals, art exhibits and street fashion. “I want women to be continually surprised and energized by my clothes and accessories,” he says.
