The high school moved yet again in 1964 to a third structure, the Lakeview building at 1819 Graham Road. In 1972, students were split due to overcrowding: grades 9 and 10 were sent back to the old Workman building, while grades 11 and 12 remained at Lakeview. Finally, in 1987, the high school moved to its current location at 3227 East Graham Road. Following this last move, the school officially changed its name to Stow-Munroe Falls High School.

for the SMFHS Class of 2009 — the high school's 100th — was held at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall
in Downtown Akron, the regular venue.

Girls Volleyball last won a state title in 1992, though remains — arguably — the athletic program's most accomplished team sport: tied for 3rd place statewide for most wins in a season (30-0, 1981); 9th place statewide for most wins all-time (583, 1971–2009); tied for 5th place for most state tournament appearances at 11 (1975, 1976, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1986, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1997, 2009); a school-record 28 conference championships; and four state titles in 18 seasons of play. In 2007, the Girls Basketball team finished second in the state; Girls Lacrosse was a state runner-up in 2006, though in Division II (the majority of Stow teams compete in Division I).

History
Stow High School first opened in 1907 within the new, centralized school building at the northwest corner of Hudson Road (later renamed Darrow Road) and Graham Road in Stow; the high school’s first graduating class was in 1909. In 1924, Stow High School moved to a second new building at the southwest corner of Darrow and Graham Roads (this same building was renamed in 1968 for Velma Workman, who retired in 1967 after teaching in the Stow schools for thirty-seven years).The high school moved yet again in 1964 to a third structure, the Lakeview building at 1819 Graham Road.
