Progressive villages

The district consists of two progressive villages of Karnpur,'Solhani and Sukhpur. Karnpur is a ideal village with 90% concrete houses. 95% of population has access to clean toilets and drinking water. Janmastmi festival of Karnpur is famous for its glitz and glitter. Saraswati Pooja (Basant Panchami) is celebrated with great zeal in Solhani village. There is a big Badgad tree nearby School which is very old and attracts the passers in Solhani.
