. It was founded in 1908 by members of the Mennonite Brethren and Krimmer Mennonite Brethren Christian churches. Tabor is currently owned and operated by the Mennonite Brethren Church and follows the confession of faith of that church.
There were 557 students enrolled at the Tabor College Hillsboro campus for the Fall 2010 semester. Total enrollment, including the Tabor College School of Adult and Graduate Studies in Wichita, Kansas, was 669.
Tabor College participates in 14 sports, including football, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's track and field.

Adult and graduate studies
Over 100 students are enrolled in the School of Adult and Graduate Studies (AGS) degree completion program, which offers three undergraduate programs: Registered Nurse to Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, Christian Ministry, and Business Administration. Students can enroll in core curriculum courses through the college's STEPS (Studies That Enhance Program Success) program. AGS also offers an MBA with a concentration in Accounting. The average length of time for a School of Adult and Graduate Studies degree completion program is 18 to 29 months.Study abroad options
The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) is a cooperative organization of Christ-centered, four-year colleges and universities rooted in the liberal arts and offering professional programs. Tabor students are provided with several service opportunities in keeping with the faith-based mission of the college. During new student orientation, students participate in a service day, working alongside others in Hillsboro and other sites in Newton and Wichita.
