In early 2006, Tarun set out to launch 92.7 BIG FM, India’s largest private radio network of 45 Stations, and has successfully taken the medium to the deepest pockets of India, with the radio stations achieving leadership position in a very short period of time. After completing his MBA in marketing
in 1998, Tarun’s self-confessed urge to do something "different and exciting" saw him jump into the world of Advertising
where he spent a fruitful three years with agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi
, Enterprise Nexus, and Ogilvy & Mather
. Then, television happened and sky-rocketed his career to a higher orbit, with him joining Star Network
in the capacity of Executive Vice President - Content and Communications before moving on to Sony Entertainment Television as Business Head for SET.
