Thomas P. Conroy is an American state legislator serving in the Massachusetts House of Representatives

Conroy worked in the public sector for nearly ten years, where he managed refugee resettlement programs in Southeast Asia and Haiti for the U.S. State Department. Upon returning to the United State, he conducted military budget analyses for a Washington think tank. He has worked for U.S. Senator Gary Hart

), and as a foreign policy and national security assistant for U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski

). Throughout the late 1990s and 2000s Conroy worked in private-sector management consulting
in Massachusetts. He was an associate manager at Public Consulting Group, where he helped Massachusetts' department of social services maximize its non-tax revenue. He worked at Mercer Management Consulting and then at Marsh, Inc., where he worked in risk management.
Originally elected in 2006, Conroy is now serving his third term as state representative. In his first term, he served on the Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies, the Joint Committee on Public Service, and Joint Committee on Revenue. He has maintained a 98% voting record during his second term, and served on the House Ways and Means Committee as well as the Joint Committee on State Administration and Regulatory Oversight. Now, in his third term, he is the Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing and also serves on the Joint Committee on Higher Education and the Joint Committee on Community Development and Small Business.
He is married to Sarah Sewall
, a member of the United States Defense Policy Board, and has four children, three triplet girls and a younger daughter. They live in Wayland.
