Charter and cargo flights however remain being operated by the brand Total Linhas Aéreas. Presently Total operates three ATR42-500 for charter flights, particularly for Petrobras

History
The airline was established in 1988 and formerly known as Total Taxi Aéreo. It is owned by Grupo Empresarial Rota.On Nov 13, 2007 TRIP Linhas Aéreas and Total Linhas Aéreas agreed to merge and got the merge operation approval by the Brazilian National Agency of Civil Aviation. On May 2008 the operation was concluded. Scheduled passenger operations were transferred to TRIP Linhas Aéreas.
