Moore began her career as a videographer
for CBC Television
before joining Citytv.
On April 24, 2008, Moore gave birth to a son, Sidney Perron. She writes a popular blog called Baby Steps that chronicles the ups and downs of motherhood. She is married to Lionel (Lio) Perron, whom she met when they were both working at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
.
On August 16, 2010, Moore gave birth to a 7 lb. 5 oz. daughter, Eva Simone Perron. She plans to return to CityLine after a six week maternity leave.
