Trent Wotherspoon is a Canadian

Wotherspoon was elected in November of 2007 and is the opposition critic for Finance, SaskPower and SaskEnergy, as well as chair of the Public Accounts committee, and committee member for Crown and Central Agencies and Saskatchewan’s Commonwealth Parliamentary Association.
Wotherspoon was born and raised in northwest Regina
. He earned a Bachelor of Education, business and math after-degree program, and has taken graduate studies in educational administration and undergraduate studies in business administration. Prior to entering politics, he developed and managed within the community an innovative and nationally recognized and modeled youth justice program for young offenders of “highest-risk” upon release from custody.
As an educator with Regina Public Schools, Wotherspoon assisted in the development and delivery of a new campus for adult students. He also led the development and delivery of a holistic vocational adaptation program for students displaying severe violent behaviours and that functioned lower cognitively. Previously, he worked with Ranch Ehrlo Society delivering addictions and behavioural treatment.
He has background in business as an entrepreneur, through business studies and as a past director with the Business Improvement District for the City of Regina’s Warehouse District.
