VisiNet Mobile software transfers and data from the dispatch office

The company was again criticized for similar issues that occurred on January 14, 2005, when the computer screens at the dispatch office in Austin froze for almost an hour and a half. A third incident occurred later that month on January 30, 2005, when the computers at the dispatch office again froze up. During the outages, dispatchers used pencil and paper to record emergency information. According to Austin city officials, no one had been injured, and no calls were missed as a result of the glitches.
