The Trinity Observer is the official student publication of Trinity University of Asia

. Known among students and staff as T.O., the paper is edited, published and financed by college students enrolled at the university.
When Martial Law was imposed in September 1972, the Trinity Observer, along with other student publications, was padlocked. In 1977, the student paper was again shut down. According to former staff writers, the student paper had published a poem in its Literary Section that the university had deemed subversive.
In 1983, the Trinity Observer resumed publication.

History
The maiden issue of the Trinity Observer was published on July 31, 1967.When Martial Law was imposed in September 1972, the Trinity Observer, along with other student publications, was padlocked. In 1977, the student paper was again shut down. According to former staff writers, the student paper had published a poem in its Literary Section that the university had deemed subversive.
In 1983, the Trinity Observer resumed publication.
