Unimodular polynomial matrix
Encyclopedia
In mathematics, a unimodular polynomial matrix is a square polynomial matrix
whose inverse exists and is itself a polynomial matrix. Equivalently, a polynomial matrix A is unimodular if its determinant
det(A) is a nonzero constant.
Polynomial matrix
A polynomial matrix or sometimes matrix polynomial is a matrix whose elements are univariate or multivariate polynomials. A λ-matrix is a matrix whose elements are polynomials in λ....

Determinant
In linear algebra, the determinant is a value associated with a square matrix. It can be computed from the entries of the matrix by a specific arithmetic expression, while other ways to determine its value exist as well...
det(A) is a nonzero constant.
