beginning in 2016. Under current head coach Al Caravelli the Eagles (sevens) have seen a tremendous growth in success. They have become a mainstay of the IRB Sevens World Series
having captured hardware multiple times in the 2008-09
season and having finished as highly as 3rd place at an event (the USA Sevens in San Diego). The Eagles (sevens) became a "core team" for the 2008-2009 IRB Sevens World Series
season. The United States, like many other developing nations, uses the 7s team to prepare players for the XV-side. Many of the current stars of the XVs
are former 7s players, including Eagles Captain Todd Clever
