. The school offers eight regular four-year academic programs, each of which grant both a university honours degree and college diploma.

Guelph-Humber offers several programs, each of which leads to a different university honours degree and college diploma:

  • Kinesiology Program
    • Bachelor of Applied Science (Kinesiology)
    • Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion
  • Computing Program
    • Bachelor of Applied Computing
    • Diploma in Wireless & Telecommunications Technology
    • The Guelph-Humber Computing program is no longer taking any new applicants. Computing will be consolidated in to a single program at the University of Guelph while the remaining Guelph-Humber Computing students are phased out through graduation. The final Computing class will end their studies in December 2010.
  • Early Childhood Studies Program
    • Bachelor of Applied Science (Early Childhood)
    • Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Family and Community Social Services Program
    • Bachelor of Applied Science (Family and Community Social Services)
    • Social Service Workers' Diploma
  • Justice Studies Program

    • Diploma in Police Foundations or Diploma in Law and Security Administration
  • A part-time Justice Studies Program designed for practicing Canadian law enforcers is also offered.
  • Media Studies Program
    • Bachelor of Applied Arts (Media Studies)
    • Diploma in Media Communications, Specializing in Journalism, Public Relations, Creative Photography, or Digital Communications (New Fall 2009)
  • Psychology Program
    • Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology)

Guelph-Humber Student Association

The University of Guelph-Humber's Student Government is The Guelph-Humber Student Association (GHSA). The elected GHSA currently consists of 6 Executives, 14 Program Representatives and a maximum of 5 non-voting Student Senators who represent the University on the University of Guelph Senate. The GHSA works with the Humber Students' Federation to provide services and activities to the students on campus. They are also responsible for annual events such as the Guelph-Humber Winter Formal. GHSA elections are held in the winter term of each year usually in the beginning of March.
