The University of Medical Technology, Yangon is one of the two Medical Technology Universities in Myanmar. This situated at Lower Mingaladon Road in Innsein Township. There are three major subjects: Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology and Physiotherapy. These are also the three main departments of the university.
In Medical Imaging Technology Department, we can learn the imaging techniques using X-rays, ultrasound and magnet.
In Medical Laboratory Technology Department, we can learn how to specify the blood group or the types of pathology and many others.
In Physiotherapy Department, we can learn how to care and how to train the exercises to patients who are unable to move or perfectly recovery from the stroke.
