Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems is a governmental cooperative
of municipalities, service districts, and political subdivisions that own their own public power systems. The Cooperative works to pool electrical energy resources to provide power to the various public power customers such as businesses and residents of the member utilities.
U.A.M.P.S. uses a variety of sources to meet the demand of its members with electrical supply. These include coal fired electrical plants, wind turbine
electrical farms, hydroelectric power, and the Association's Nebo Power Station a natural gas
