Unlike his father, he had his life pre-established with a significant help from his parents. At age 17, he enrolled in the Donetsk National University
majoring in the Business Enterprise. Upon his graduation in 2003, he earned a master diploma in Business Enterprise.
From July through November of 2004, he works as the first assistant of the general director of the limited liability company
BK (city of Donetsk
). Prior to this and for sometime concurrently with it, Yanukovych held a position of a vice-president in the regional public organization Spryiannia (Promoting) (Donetsk Oblast
) on voluntary basis (2002-2004). Since November of 2005 he returned to his prior job at BK on the same position. Coincidently with the above mentioned he serves as the vice-chairman of the All-Ukrainian public organization Youth Union of Ukrainian regions.
Since May 2006 he is a People's Deputy of Ukraine in Verkhovna Rada
