The Village of the Arts is contained between 14th Street West, Route 41/9th Street West and 16th Avenue West in Bradenton, Florida, approximately 50 miles (80.5 km) south of Tampa. This area of Bradenton originally consisted of 1920's style architecture. Some of the buildings used for galleries and homes are as old as 100 years. Prior to the establishment and gentrification of the Village of the Arts, this same area of Bradenton was considered crime-ridden.

Travel guides list the Village of the Arts as a vacation destination in Southern Florida.
