in Philadelphia. Although it does not air any news programming, there are weather updates provided by an unknown meteorologist. Before adding network shows, WRDE offered prizes to viewers who came up with programming ideas for the station.

The station began operating at low-power after signing-on as W59DZ on May 5, 2004. It upgraded its signal in 2005 and became known as WRDE-LP. When viewing the now defunct signal on UHF channel 59, a scroll with the station name and call sign was scrolling across the screen.
