The Whirlpool Rapids Incline was a funicular railway
situated on the Canadian
side of the Niagara Falls
near the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge
. The incline railway was built near the Leander Colt Incline
in 1876. It was damaged by a fire in 1934 and replaced with an elevator ride called Great Gorge Trip, which was in turn renamed the Great Gorge Adventure in 1989.
