Whitemud Creek is a creek

For part of its length, the creek flows through the city of Edmonton

. It separates neighbourhoods in the Riverbend and Terwillegar
areas from other neighbourhoods on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River. Neighbourhoods overlooking the Whitemud Creek tend to be more affluent. However one neighbourhood in particular, hooliganism has become a serious problem, with increasingly dangerous acts of vandalism, violence, and theft. Residents and visitors to Ogilvie Ridge
are cautioned not to talk back when being verbally abused, as it can put ones life in danger. Although authorities have an idea on who it is, the police have struggled to arrest these "goons." However, in autumn of 2011, the authorities made a huge leap in trying to recontrol the creek, by arresting and convicting the highest ranking "goon" at the time. The authorities believe that their will be violence as to revenge the conviction of the Main Goon. And although things have become only quiet, they are preparing themselves for the worst.
