but grew up in Mira Mesa
. He attended Ericson Elementary School from kindergarten. He was one of the first children to attend the first year of Challenger Middle School, and graduated from Mira Mesa High School. He owns Tiki Hut Island Grill and his own skateshops, Willy's Workshop (Rancho Penasquitos & formerly in Mira Mesa until the shop closed in 2010). He is related to former teen Filipino skater GALBINO (Arvin Fortunato Lariosa). Willy also organizes community outreach programs, created his own shop team and even assisted the design of the local Rancho Penasquitos skateboard public park. He assists various charities and uses his spare time to assist others via skateboarding. Right now, he is trying to fundraise enough money to give the community of Mira Mesa a local skatepark.
