Wrecclesham Cricket Club have been in existence since 1901 and have had fluctuating fortunes over the years. Their symbol shows an owl over a pottery kiln. Hence the nickname, 'The Owls'. They have been in the local I'Anson cricket league (the oldest village cricket league in the world), for 60 years. They have two teams and the first eleven have been promoted in three consecutive seasons. So far, this the only time this has been done by an established club.

St Peter’s is the only church in the Parish and was consecrated in 1840 when the population was believed to be around 800 inhabitants, significantly smaller than today. Situated behind the church is the Parish Hall known as the Leverton Hall. This is rented out for various occasions and organisations such as the local karate and scout clubs. Wrecclesham also has many shops within its boundaries such as furniture stores, a post office and various restaurants and takeaways. One focal point of the village is the recreational ground in Riverdale. This is home to many clubs such as Farnham Rugby Club, Wrecclesham Football Club, Wrecclesham Tennis Club, Wrecclesham Darts and Wrecclesham Cricket Club.Sport
