His ability to play on the left saw him establish himself within the Shenzhen squad the following 2007 league season and this would see him play in a further 25 league games for them. However while a firmly established player for Shenzhen throughout the 2008 league season he was unable to aid them from a second season which saw them flirt with relegation.
