Šlokenbeka Castle is a fortified manor in the historical region of Zemgale, in Latvia

. It is the only existing example of a fortified manor centre in Latvia. It started its existence as a castle of the Livonian Order

In 1845 Šlokenbeka manor house was built inside the defensive walls of the castle.

 village. It was builst in trapeze form yard, which was enclosed with stone walls with portholes. At 17th century Šlokenbeka lost its defence meaning. At the end of 18th century was built new and renwed old buildings, to walls in N and S was added new gate towers. New building was built in classcism style (1841-45).

At the 20th century (30ties) šlokenbeka lost some of their buildings. At Soviet times there was 5th road maintenece unit.

Now there are Latvian Road Museum and restaurant.
