The preliminary competition was held on April 3, 2011, after the much awaited Parade of Beauties at the Araneta Center, Quezon City aired on ABS-CBN.
At the pageant conclusion, Shamcey Gorrea Supsup was crowned as the new Miss Universe Philippines who succeeded the title. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder Venus Raj. Dianne Necio was crowned Binibining Pilipinas-International, giving her right to compete at the Miss International 2011 Pageant in China
, and Isabella Manjon as the new Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism.
