over retransmission consent

The station will remain a secondary affiliate of MyNetworkTV, which will air on the station from 9-11 p.m. (two hours later than the recommended timeslot for MyNetworkTV programming), and it rebranded from "KRBK-HD" to "Fox KRBK".
KRBK is primarily available in the Springfield area on cable or satellite, it is not generally available over the air in Springfield. With the impending affiliation switch, KRBK plans to upgrade its transmitter to allow areas of Southwest Missouri not serviced by KRBK's over-the-air signal to view Fox network programming; station management expects its signal to be available to most of the area sometime in the fall of 2011.

In addition, KRBK features segments throughout its broadcast day featuring the "KRBK Street Team", who provide entertainment, sports and event-related stories; the station does not currently air a local newscast, though it does run the nationally-syndicated morning news and entertainment program The Daily Buzz
on weekday mornings from 6-9 a.m.; however, since the announcement that the station will become the new Fox affiliate for Springfield, the development of local newscasts for KRBK in some form is being contemplated.
