Controversy / recall
- Detachment of their wheels while in motion
- Malfunction of brakes. A school bus with 50 children was involved in an accident due to the malfunctioning of brakes. Originally it was thought that the driver was trying to avoid a piece of wood on the highway. Later Mitsubishi accepted it as their fault and apologized for the accident. No lives were lost in the incident.
