compiled by census takers for the 1911 census of India. The list is ordered by administrative divisions, starting with the Lahore Division

The appearance of a particular tribe as Rajput
in the list does not in itself confirm that the tribe is Jat or otherwise. Identity may change with time, and some groups in the list may no longer identify themselves as Rajputs. This list is simply gives an historical distribution of Muslim Rajputs tribes in the Punjab
