The recent history remembered the work of Rosario Ferracani was a masonry and a contractor and constructed water ducts which still exists today. In the Second World War
, Naro resisted aerial bombings.
Naro is also famous for the festivity of its local patron Saint, San Calogero, which is celebrated on June 18. On this day, the Saint is towed throughout the city streets by thousands.
